Author attended the Bembridge Foundation Day celebrations in Worcester and at a related ball was left financially, mentally and physically at a loss, and resolves to be more decent and sober. Further on Heath-Stubbs writes that he won the English Prize at the Worcester College for the Blind, and has been recommended for the Exhibition for English, something available to visually impaired people at Queen’s College, Oxford. This will commence October 1939. During the time of writing, the author claims he is becoming more proficient at reading Braille. Ends letter with comments about mutual university friends.
