Scope and Content

The manuals have been issued periodically, providing information about the University's administration and procedures for its staff. Typically, they included information on the University's administrative structure, personnel procedures (including salaries, pensions and allowances), staff and student facilities. From 1991 to 1993 the manuals were issued as "Manuals for Heads of Departments" but in 1995, these became a general staff manual with much the same content.
