Administrative / Biographical History

Ian Isherwood presided over the acquisition and evaluation of the first commercial EMI CT brain scanner in the world, in the department of neuroradiology at Manchester Royal Infirmary and, later, the first commercial EMI CT Scanner in Europe, as well as subsequent upgrades and replacement scanners, in the department of diagnostic radiology at the University of Manchester.
