Although not known for her stage plays, they do form part of EF's oeuvre, and the archive includes papers relating to two of her works, The Bet (1990), a puppet play performed to music, and Lear's Daughters (1987), a prequel to Shakespeare's King Lear, which charts the history of a dysfunctional family. These papers comprise draft scripts and some publicity material.
