Bound volumes of press-cuttings about University affairs created by the Vice-Chancellor's Office. The cuttings typically include reports of the V-C's speeches, obituaries of staff members, and notable University social events, including degree ceremonies, visits by famous people and opening of new buildings etc. Cuttings were not maintained after 1971.
The earliest volume dates from 1904-1911; there is a gap for the period 1912-1921. The succeeding volume is labelled 'IV' indicating that two volumes of cuttings may be missing.
