Regulations setting out responsibility for finance within the University of Strathclyde and the financial procedures to be followed by all Court members and University staff.

Administrative / Biographical History

The Finance Office was established in 1990. It replaced the office of Bursar. It was responsible for the day to day financial administration of the University. It was responsible, through the Secretary, for preparing annual revenue and capital budgets and other financial plans; preparing accounts and management information in respect of all financial operations; monitoring expenditure against budgets; preparing the University's financial statements; ensuring that the University maintained staisfactory financial systems; and providing professional advice on all matters relating to financial policies and procedures.
