Scope and Content

Most of the records, 1920-1976, refer only to the Commerce Degree Bureau activities; the exceptions are the minutes of the Board of Governors and its committees (CD 2) and the accounts of the Bureau and appointments Board (CD 7). The collection also includes, a Copy of the Declaration of trust (CD 1); minutes and agendas of the Executive Committee (CD 3); minutes of the Commerce Degree Bureau (CD 4); minutes of the Board of Education (CD 5); Annual reports (CD 6); correspondence, reports and memoranda concerning the establishment of the Bureau (CD 8); correspondence and papers relating to the administration of the Bureau (CD 9); registers of students (CD 10); lists of examination results by students registered with the Bureau (CD 11); registers of books acquired by the Bureau library (CD 13); Prospectuses (CD 14); Secretary's correspondence (CD 15) and correspondence concerning gifts of books (CD 16).
There is also one box of uncatalogued material containing Estimates, 1935-1973 and a prospectus, 1983-1984.
