Administrative / Biographical History

The Fusion Programme is a Wales-wide Welsh Government initiative supporting cultural opportunities to help improve lives. Fusion Swansea is co-funded and run by Swansea Council’s Cultural Services, supporting people to access cultural activity for wellbeing, to acquire new relevant skills for life and work and for communities to influence programming. As part of its activities, a number of oral history recordings were created, led by Amina Abu-Shahba, Cultural Community Co-ordinator at Swansea Council. The recordings were then used to create a series of films.
