Administrative / Biographical History

Jennings is a firm of solicitors in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire. The office is in Goring Road and Jennings provide conveyancing, commercial work, help with wills and probate, divorce and family law, litigation, criminal law, compensation claims employment, debt and welfare benefit. The premises of Ocean Dry Dock, Swansea were held by a 999 year lease from the Duke of Beaufort and his trustees. The property lay at Swansea Docks with the Swansea and Neath Railway nearby. A dry dock was built there. It was operated by the Ocean Dry Dock Co. Ltd. The company went into voluntary liquidation in 1937, and by 1964 it had been filled in. Afterwards a foundry was operating on part of the site.
