ii) Handwritten letter signed (1p) sent from London. Concern over letter received from Miss Haldane and wishes to discuss the matter. 9 December 1929

iii) Handwritten letter signed (2 pp) sent from Westminster. References to Labour legislation in India. Post script marked 'very confidential' refers to 'Lalau?' and federal control. 17 January 1931

iv) Typescript letter signed (3 pp) sent from London. Informs Laski of continued opposition in appointing academic men as Judges. Refers to an enclosed letter from Chorley (not present in the collection). 30 October 1934

v) Handwritten letter signed (2 pp) sent from Llandrindod Wells. Asks for Laski's opinion on France. Has concerns not only about the war but peace too. Also mentions the Fabian Society. 30 September 1940
