Administrative / Biographical History

The Electrical Association for Women was a body set up in the mid-20th century. It published pamphlets, plays and other literature with a view to encouraging and educating people in the potential uses of electricity to help women in the home. Local branches were established, and the Swansea Branch was in operation during the 1950s to the 1980s.
