Correspondence relating to various English Language Teaching readers written by Elizabeth Laird, which were the first books she had published. The file includes correspondence from Heinemann Educational Books (later Heinemann English Language Teaching), OUP, and Longman, as well as style and language guides for Heinemann's New Wave Readers. The file also contains a small quantity of manuscript notes for stories, and a typescript draft of one unpublished story, 'Rosa's Daughter'.
