The Neath Antiquarian Society was established in 1923, for the study of the history of Neath and district. It has acquired several archive collections whose origins can be demonstrated with some accuracy, which are listed elsewhere. It has also collected individual manuscripts whose provenance is more difficult to determine, but which relate to various industrial concerns in the Neath area, which are described here.

Arranged into papers of specific companies (in alphabetical order), industrial deeds and leases (in alphabetical order by parish), Acts and Bills of Parliament relating to industrial concerns, and miscellaneous industrial papers.
