Scott has urged Mr Montagu to allow Khan to bring suit. He understand Government report will clear Sir George [Roos-]Keppel of personal blame regarding attacks on khan in his Manual of Pashto. He is returning slippers and blankets as it is not customary for Members of Parliament to accept such presents.
