Administrative / Biographical History

Dr Matthew Garrey, obstetrician and gynaecologist, gained his medical qualifications, MB Chb (with commendation) from Glasgow University in 1936. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1963 and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow (FRCS Glasg) in 1973. He was Emeritus Consultant at Glasgow Maternity Hospital and was president of the Royal Medico-Chirurgical Society of Glasgow. He died 4th October 2004.
