Patricia Rodriguez-Martinez-Jones is a native of Colombia who moved to the UK and now lives in Swansea. Patricia Rodriguez-Martinez-Jones is a founding member of the Asociacion Latinoamericana de Swansea, which was established on 1st February 2003 by fifteen enthusiastic Latin Americans, Spaniards and British people who came together and pledged to share Latin American and Spanish culture with the people of Swansea. The main aim of the group is to provide mutual support and to raise awareness of Latin America's cultural richness. Membership is open to any individual interested in Latin America. ALAS is also known as Associacao Latino-americana de Swansea (Portuguese), Swansea Latin American Association and Cymdeithas America Lladin Abertawe (Welsh).
