John Mackay & Company (Newcastle) Ltd was an aerated waters manufacturing and bottling company. The firm became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Scottish & Newcastle Breweries Ltd in 1965, and had ceased trading by 1975. In 1983 the company name was changed to Mackay's Soft Drinks Ltd.

The material is arranged according to the Scottish Brewing Archive classification scheme used within all SBA collections.
