Registers of registration and licences for road vehicles. These volumes relate to the payment of road tax (possibly in relation to the introduction of tax discs in 1921). They are arranged in rough alphabetical order by owner’s name and give the following details: full name and address, vehicle registration number (most, but not all, are CY registration), class, make, colour, capacity and weight of vehicle, and amount of duty paid.
