Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
The photographs include, and formerly belonged to, Sergeant George Reynolds (1877-1953) of 7 Rhyddings Park Road, Swansea. He joined Swansea Police Force in 1904 and attained the rank of Sergeant. He was pensioned out in 1932 with muscular rheumatism. He later re-joined as part of the War Reserve in 1938 (see his personnel files, ref. D/D Con/S 9/470 and 9/699).
