Administrative / Biographical History

Edward Thomas Lunt was an arts student at the University of Glasgow from 1912  . He graduated MA (ordinary) in 1919  . Dorothy Almar Lunt was born in 1931  . She entered the University of Glasgow aged 17 and was an dentistry student from 1948-1953  . In her first year, 1948-1949, she studied Chemistry, Physics, Zoology and Botany. The following year, 1949-1950, she studied Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry and Dental Mechanics. In her third year, 1950-1951, she studied Dental Anatomy, Histology, Dental Mechanics and Materials. In her fourth year, 1951-1952, she studied Pathology, Bacteriology and Orthodontics. In her final year, 1952-1953, she studied Medicine, dental Surgery and Oral Surgery. Dorothy Lunt graduated BDS in 1953  . She also went on to graduate MDS, PhD, HDD and later was a lecturer in Dental Anatomy and Histology at Glasgow Dental School.
