This composite series is comprised of a series of eight typescript and mimeographed typescript poems by NN, a number of them annotated; all but one of these were published in his final major collection Sea to the west (Faber, 1981). The final item is a copy of Poetry Review containing a number of NN's poems which he has emended by hand. These literary papers were presumably passed on to MS by NN during the course of their friendship and correspondence.
