Scope and Content

Original artwork by Quentin Blake, consisting of 15 black and white and one colour drawing, used to illustrate the Centre for the Children's Book [now Seven Stories, the Centre for Children's Books] Vision Document, published in 1998. The file also contains a letter from the designer of the vision document, Ian Butterworth.

The contents of the file constitutes an almost complete suite of original artwork for the vision document, missing only the original artwork for the three drawings which appear on the first page of the document. These appear to have been reproduced from digital copies supplied for an article on the Centre published in 'The Guardian' in 2002.

Administrative / Biographical History
