Scope and Content

Mainly to Lord Rowallan from his son, Billy, while on active service. Also several letters from Billy to his brother, Arthur, at Eton College, Windsor, including: 30 Mar 1918 Copy to Miss Grimond. Letter written by O F Stein on behalf of Geoffrey Corbett (Billy) explaining the circumstances of his injury received by the bursting of a shell that day. The writer praises his devotion to duty and fortitude shown at this time
