It started in 1978 as a monthly newsletter and became an A4 volume published once a year and then a bound publication until it final edition was published in 1988. A small number of one-off pamphlets and occaisional papers were also produced.

The journal was edited throughout its life by British poet and editor Ken Edwards, and received contributions from poets and other writers from both sides of the Atlantic.
