Small floral damask and brocade sketches from the late 19th century to mid 20th century, including some copies of textiles in the collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum and South Kensington Museums. There are also a number of photocopies of designs and textile samples and a few designs on pages removed from catalogues. There are designs by, amongst others, Frederick J. Mayers, Libert, H. Turner, Hans Thelen and there is also a photograph of a design ascribed to Arthur Silver. Many of the designs are attached in multiples to single sheets of backing paper, and where this is the case, no dominant colour has been recorded.
