'Collected Notes on Gower' - 11 volumes of antiquarian and topographical notes, press-cuttings and photographs collected by Donald Le Cronier Chapman 1930-1938; 'Gower Thirty Years Ago', volume of press-cuttings 1900-1911 from the Evening Post column 'It Was Thirty Years Ago' etc., compiled 1940-1941; 'Gower Notes', notes of births, marriages, deaths, village news and historical articles extracted in 1940-1941 from the Gower Church Magazine 1900-1941; Gower press-cuttings and notes and a 'Priced Catalogue of Gower Books in my possession' 1950-1954; 'Gower Notes', press-cuttings, antiquarian and topographical notes with some correspondence 1954-1957; Note-book containing 'References of the Family of Bevan from W.C. Roger's manuscript notes' 1954; file of correspondence, press-cuttings and photographs relating to the Bowen family of Slade, Oxwich 1955-1957; Country Life Aug 4th 1955 containing article on Gower 'An English Outpost in Wales' by Christopher Trent.

Donald Le Cronier (fl 1930-1957) Chapman was a member of the Royal Institution of South Wales, Fishery Officer and Lloyds Agent : West Gower. He was a local historian and antiquarian.
