Duplicate marriage register for Dinas Mission Church

The parish of Dinas and Penygraig was formed out of the civil parishes of Llantrisant and Ystradyfodwg in 1901. At this time three exisiting churches were taken from the parish of Llantrisant: St Mary's, Llanfair-ar-y-Bryn, built 1890 which ministered to the Welsh speaking community; St Illtyd's, Williamstown, dedicated in 1894; and Dinas Mission Church, an iron building with seating for 250, built 1897. St Barnabas mission church was built as a chapel of ease to Llanfair in 1914, replacing an iron mission church which had previously been part of Llwynypia parish. In 1919 Williamstown became a separate parish. Dinas Mission Church was closed in 2018.
