Scope and Content

Kingsgate Place Women's Centre placed an advert in the press in 1973 inviting women who believed they had been victims of sex discrimination to give evidence to the Kingsgate Anti-discrimination group. The group forwarded these to responsible bodies (usually councils or local MPs) to investigate their case. File consists of correspondence regarding these cases. Cases of discrimination are grouped in the following subjects:
