Building agreement, 12 Dec 1927: (i) John Ralph Banfield carrying on business as John R. Banfield and Son at Grenfell Park Estate, St. Thomas, county borough of Swansea, builders and contractors with (ii) John Ralph Banfield and Sydney Jones carrying on business as The Grenfell Park Estate Company at said estate , freeholders of building site hereinafter mentioned, with (iii) Ivor Glandyn Llewellyn of 15, Reginald Street, Swansea, tinworker: (i) will erect dwellinghouse for (iii) upon site, plot no. 135, in St Elmo Avenue at Grenfell Park Estate, St. Thomas and containing by admeasurement in frontage to said avenue at building line 23 feet or thereabouts. Price of said dwellinghouse will be £569. 10 shillings, purchase shall be completed on 7 Feb next. (i) will on completion deliver to (iii) Swansea Corporation's certificate of due completion of said dwellinghouse and lease direct from (ii) of said site to (iii) Said lease will be for term of 99 years computed from 29 Sep last at annual ground rent of £4. 10 shillings.. 1927
