Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
The Swansea Gospel Mission was founded in 1865 at Pleasant Street, Swansea, by Oscar T. Snelling, its first minister. It was a non-denominational church following the evangelical tradition, and continues as such today. The correspondence in the collection appears to indicate that its closest links were with the Baptist churches in Swansea.
