Transcript and index of St. Augustine's marriage register, 1813-1891 (2001); Journal, numbers 1-122 (except 60, 88, 90), 1983-2016; index and transcript of Hendreforgan Senior School admission register, 1939-1950, and transcript of Llandyfodwg (Dinas Main) School admission register, 1883-1912; records given to the editor of the Glamorgan Family History Society Journal.

Administrative / Biographical History

Glamorgan Family History Society was founded in 1974 to provide support for anyone with an interest in family history. Monthly branch meetings are held at Bridgend, Cardiff, Sully, Aberdare, Pontypridd, Merthyr Tydfil & Swansea. At these meetings members share experiences, exchange information and resolve problems. An annual Family History Fair is held in Merthyr Tydfil. Society members work on various projects, such as transcribing and indexing records relating to Glamorgan which they deem useful for family historians.
