Administrative / Biographical History
Oswald John Morris (1906-1968) was educated at Sandfields School. After leaving school c.1923 he went to work in the Burrows tinplate works. In May 1949 he appeared on the BBC's Opportunity Knocks variety show hosted by Hughie Greene after which he became the resident comedian on the BBC Radio programme "Welsh Rarebit".
