Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
The day-book was formerly in the possesion of Dr. William Hopkins, M.D. of Rhoose, probably identical to the namesake who appears in land tax records in Queen Street Cardiff between 1819 and 1830. It survived among the papers of John Miles Savours of Rhoose, passing to his daughters Olive and Elsie Savours before donation to the Glamorgan Record Office
