Papers concerning an exchange of lands between the Revd Hugh Wynne Jones, M.A., as Prebendary of Penmynydd, and the [second] Paul Panton of Plas Gwyn (1804-1806). H.W.J. set this project in agitation very soon after his accession to the prebend in June 1803, when he succeeded Dr C.P. Layard, who had only held it from 1799. H.W.J. was the forefather of a host of distinguished Wynne-Joneses in the diocese of Bangor, grandfather also to Dr Rowland Williams of the "Essays and Reviews"
