Ms correspondence between Dr Robert Probyn-Williams, a London anaethetist, and William Wertheim, a German anaethetist in Dresden, concerning Wertheim's recommended mixture of chloroform, pethedine and sulphure. Together with a covering letter from R R (Macintosh) at Pembroke College, Oxford, to G F Gibberd, FRCS, at Harley Street (September 1940).
