Probate of the will (d. 25 August 1701) of Peter Evans of the City of London, merchant. Bequeaths all his real estate to his wife Elizabeth and his son John Evans, jointly during their joint lives; to John Evans after the death of his wife; and to his nephew Peter Evans in default of issue to J.E. His personal estate to be divided equally between his wife and son, whom he names as his executors. Desires that they be advised by his brother Arthur Evans. Charges his real estate with an annuity of £500 to his nephew Edward Hughes to be paid within 3 years after his nephew Peter Evans shall become entitled to his estate in Wales.
