A Midsummer Night's Dream and other productions

This volume contains black and white production photographs of Harley Granville-Barker's 1914 production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Savoy Theatre, London. A note pasted onto the cover explains that Hoare, aged 11, performed in this production as a fairy. A loose note inside explains the process of applying their gold-leaf make-up. Also included are production photographs for two other London productions. Notes are pasted or written in beside each photograph giving production information details.
