Asthalleigh is situated 18 miles west of Oxford. It was a chapelry of Asthall though was licenced to perform marriages. The chapel was declared redundant in 1974. Please see the Asthall parish records for all other registers.
The records were originally deposited in the Bodleian Library by Rev JTM Hine, vicar of Asthall in 1976. The material was then transferred to the Oxfordshire Record Office.
