Board meetings were chaired by the Dean of Faculty. Subjects covered in the minutes include admission of students to courses, curriculum matters, Faculty prospectuses, appointment of examiners, setting of examination papers, examination results and approval of degree awards (including postgraduate degrees), degree regulations. The minutes also include reports from ad hoc sub-committees appointed to deal with specific issues.
Minutes are signed (until May 1981) and indexed (until September 1973). Most papers have been pasted into the volume, although some are attached by sellotape.
