Comprising photocopies of letters by Granville Elliott held at Hull University Archives in U DDHO/4 and letters by Charles Hotham owned by Peter Eliot. Includes an Eliot family tree (1592-1976) and related documents from the period of the Seven Years War. The letters relate to military orders and the logistical concerns about supplying and transporting the army. There are several mentions of the Duke of Marlborough in relation to the giving of orders.
