Two pencil on paper portraits drawn by Emma Clara Serle, who was the eldest surviving daughter of Cecilia Serle (n�e Novello) and Thomas James Serle and the granddaughter of Vincent Novello. She was described as a promising soprano singer. She died on 4 October 1877 at Novello Cottage in Worthing.
