Administrative / Biographical History
The West Glamorgan Association of Local Councils was established in the 1980s. Its main function was to represent and provide support for town and community councils in West Glamorgan. For most of its history the Association met in the offices of the Council of Voluntary Services in Page Street, Swansea. In 2006 the West Glamorgan Association of Local Councils dissolved itself and its responsibilities and assets were transferred to One Voice Wales.
