A transcript of a general astrological work, giving definitions, tables, etc. (pages 1-177), followed by horoscopes of members of the Sparrow family, 1681-1719 (pages 179-192), and bound with Ephemerides of the clestial motions: for XXII years, commencing... 1719, and concluding... 1740, by John Gadbury (London: printed for R. and W. Mount and T. Page, 1718). The horoscopes cover Henry Sparrow (born 1681), Alice Sparrow (1683-1719) and their children, living at Norfolk, Suffolk and Hampshire. As well as astrological details relating to the date and place of birth, the horoscopes describe actual events in the lives of the children, in particular accidents or episodes of illness.
