Administrative / Biographical History
The New Review was published in London in 5 volumes between 1974 and 1979. Its editor was the poet Ian Hamilton, who had been lecturer in poetry at Hull in 1972/73. The magazine replaced The Review which had been published in Oxford from 1961.
