Scope and Content

Much of the early records of the ELMT archive are made up of letter files. Original order was maintained during cataloguing. The series is catalogued chronologically with many files having overlapping dates. Some letter files concentrate on particular subjects, organisations or individuals, some cover a wide range of correspondents and subjects while others are individual or smaller files of correspondence.
