Administrative / Biographical History
Audrey Jones was born in Llansamlet in 1918. She attended Delabeche Girls School in Swansea and graduated in Physics from Swansea University, going on to train as a teacher at Swansea during the Second World War. She spent a short period teaching at Pembroke Dock County School, followed by several years at Cardiff High School for Girls. During the 1960s she worked as a teacher at Glamorgan Training College, Barry. Audrey Jones also acted as a Guide Leader in Cardiff.
