Administrative / Biographical History
Griffith John (1831-1912) was born in Llangyfelach Road, Swansea. He was a member of Ebenezer Independent Church, Swansea. After training for the Ministry at Memorial College, Brecon, he was ordained at Ebenezer in 1855 and went to China as a missionary, where he founded the Hankow Mission. He is buried in the graveyard of Bethel, Sketty.
