Swansea Sisterhood Federation, later named Swansea Free Church Women's Council, was formed in November 1928 with the aim of spreading the Gospel in the Swansea area among women. It held monthly meetings, with representatives from local churches, predominantly English Baptist and English Congregational (and from 1971, United Reformed).
