Administrative / Biographical History

Mills & Moors Tours was a registered co-operative with three members offering heritage tours in the South Pennines. The co-operative advertised itself as 'the specialist tour co-operative with an enthusiasim for and a dedication to the Labour, Co-operative and Industrial Heritage of the South Pennines.' The co-operative was short-lived, only conducting one tour for a group of Swedish MP's.

Acquisition Information

In October 2017, the National Co-operative Archive published a call-out for historic materials within the wider worker co-op community for Working Together , an Heritage Lottery Funded project seeking to record and preserve the heritage of the worker co-operative moment.
