Digitised versions of two original tape recordings of oral history interviews made by Frank Claybrook, made for an Open University history course. He is interviewing Albert Frank Button, born 5 Mar. 1918 in Dunvant, and who lived on Dunvant Road all his life. The interviews focus on Albert Buttons memories of his early life and upbringing, and on his recollections of life in Dunvant, mining etc. He was one of five sons and four daughters of a miner Bertram Button and his wife Emma Blanche.
